Piers Adams

Piers Adams is one of the world’s leading recorder players, a much-loved musician who has given the instrument a broad popular appeal through his concerts, broadcasts and recordings.

He is a prolific musician, renowned as a soloist as well as working with musicians across a wide range of genres.  He is probably best known for his trailblazing baroque quartet Red Priest with whom he has brought the thrill of his music to audiences across the globe – with over 1000 concerts on four continents in some of the world’s most prestigious festivals.

However, he also finds time for his ‘Recorder Roadshow’ programme of workshops and educational gala concerts, in which up to 200 children at a time have the chance to perform alongside him in concert.  More information about Piers is available on his website: http://www.piersadams.com
